Welcome!

The Board of Directors, Staff and I welcome you as a visitor to our site. You can see we are underway and in transition but as we grow you will notice our changes if you are a frequent visitor. RMBH is a nonprofit agency offering substance abuse services in this region for over thirty-five years and treatment services to families experiencing violence for over twelve years.
We are an agency that works hard to help clients who are in a life-long struggle to deal with addiction and violence. Our treatment program includes both outpatient and intensive outpatient care as well as laboratory, crisis and support services. We welcome clients who represent all forms of diversity and culture. We serve clients as young as three years old (who have witnessed violence or experienced the isolation of the parents’ substance abuse) and as old as eighty-six (who are dealing with the effects of prescription confusion/abuse and/or alcohol lifestyles). RMBH receives financial and professional support from the Colorado Department of Behavioral Health and many other state and local agencies. As a consequence, no client is turned away due to an inability to pay and all clients are served within a sliding scale fee system.
Our Board and staff describe this agency as a “family.” Once affiliated with RMBH we are always an alumni, volunteer or member of the Board or staff! This team cares. The current Board Chair has served RMBH for over 20 years in a variety of roles. Many of the current staff has been at RMBH for many years.
Along with this tenure and longevity is our desire to remain current and responsive to new practices and new needs of our community and clients. To remain current in our professions,  RMBH provides teaching and learning opportunities for our qualified staff and for those students and interns who want to join us. We work with our community partners to stay current and to offer evidence based treatment and best practices.
Please contact us with your questions or comments—we look forward to hearing from you.
